An author of Lonely Planet guides for more than five years, I started writing fiction in 2021 after winning the European EACWP Flash Fiction competition with The Caretaker, a 100-word ghost story.

Since then, I’ve had horror short stories published in Portuguese and English, and continue to write about travel and culture for Lonely Planet and other publications (print and digital).

In March 2022, I co-founded Fábrica do Terror , a website dedicated to Portuguese horror, where I act as editor-in-chief.
